Dr. Tatwa P. Timsina has made extensive contributions to training, facilitation, coaching, education and quality management in Nepal and beyond — through academia, ICA Nepal, IIQA and numerous international development organizations.

Academic Leadership & Teaching

Professor at Tribhuvan University for 35 years. Academic Advisor and founder of the PhD Centre, enabling over 100 scholars to complete their PhDs with 250+ in progress.

Training & Facilitation

Over 30 years working with the Government of Nepal, UNDP, USAID and ADB. Expertise in project management, neuroleadership, ToP methods and organizational development.

Research & Scholarly Work

Author of several books and research articles on neuroscience, development, education and facilitation. Recent research examines neuroscience impacts on academic achievement.

Capacity Building via ICA Nepal

As Founding Chairperson of ICA Nepal, led human capacity development including life-skills education for teachers and youth, and professional career development training using ToP and other approaches for community sustainability.

Quality Management & ISO

Chairperson of Imagine Nepal and member of NQPCN. First certified auditor of EOMS (ISO 21001) from Nepal. Conducts ISO 9001 and ISO 21001 certification and surveillance for colleges and schools.

Project Evaluation

Carried out several evaluation studies as team leader for the Social Welfare Council and national and international organizations, ensuring accountability and programme effectiveness.
