A Life Dedicated to Learning & Leadership

Prof. Dr. Tatwa P. Timsina is the recently self-retired Professor of Human Ecology at Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal, where he served for 35 years. He was the founder of the Centre of Excellence for PhD Studies, through which more than 100 scholars completed their PhDs and around 250 are pursuing them.

As the founding Chairperson of ICA Nepal and former Chairperson of ICA International (Montreal, Canada, 2004–2006), he has shaped facilitation practice across the globe. He has contributed as trainer and facilitator for the Government of Nepal, UNDP, USAID, ADB, FHI, IUCN, NCASC, MSH, Handicap International and many more.

He has written around 30 scientific articles and 15 books and manuals on science, environment and development. He has travelled to more than 50 countries and all 77 districts of Nepal.
